What is the sign-up process?expand_more
WhatsApp us to schedule a visit. Our principal or staff will show you around the school. After the visit, complete the registration form and email it back to us to confirm your child's place.
When can my child start?expand_more
We accept applications throughout the year, subject to availability. Most families plan to start at the beginning of a term, but mid-year transitions are absolutely possible — we'll work with you to settle your child in.
Are there outdoor activities for the children?expand_more
Yes. We believe in a healthy balance of indoor and outdoor learning. Our children get at least 2.5 hours of outdoor playtime each week, including regular visits to the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve next door.
What is the teacher-to-child ratio?expand_more
We meet or exceed ECDA's staff-to-child ratio guidelines across all class levels. We keep classes intentionally small so every child is known by name. Visit us and we'll walk you through the specific arrangement for your child's level.
Where are your teachers from and what are their qualifications?expand_more
All our teachers hold at least a Diploma in Early Childhood. Our team is recruited locally and from China, with native-speaker support for both English and Mandarin. Our principal has over 16 years of experience plus leadership qualifications. Our in-house cooks have completed accredited food safety training.
Are meals provided?expand_more
Yes. We provide breakfast, lunch, and a tea break — all freshly cooked on premises daily. Our meals follow Health Promotion Board (HPB) nutritional standards. Parents do not need to pack meals.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?expand_more
Yes, we work with parents to accommodate allergies and dietary requirements. Please flag these during the application process.
Am I eligible for any subsidies?expand_more
It depends on your individual eligibility. Singapore citizens may qualify for ECDA's Basic and Additional Subsidies. Visit ecda.gov.sg for details, or WhatsApp us and we'll help you check.
Can I pay using my Child Development Account (CDA)?expand_more
Yes. Arise Preschool is an Approved Institution (AI) with the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), so you may use your CDA for monthly fee payments.
Are you a faith-based preschool?expand_more
Yes. We are a faith-based preschool that welcomes families of all faiths and backgrounds. Children participate in age-appropriate stories, songs, and weekly devotions as part of our character-building curriculum.
